Founded in 1887, widely cited as the oldest country club west of the Mississippi River. The current Cherry Creek course was originally laid out by James Foulis in 1905 and has been modified over the decades by a remarkable roster of architects including Donald Ross, William Flynn, A.W. Tillinghast, Bill Coore, and Gil Hanse (most recently in 2011-2012). Private and member-owned, with an extensive historic district designation.
